Module 1.0: Theories of Human Development

Curiosity

I had a better grasp of who I am today as I connected the dots of the past. I am now aware of how genetics shaped most of my physical development. I have accepted the effects of culture, society, and environment onto most of my cognitive and psychosocial development. It is also significant that I have inherited much of my intelligence from my parents. The knowledge within me turns into a form of curiosity.

I am curious about the future. What would I become when I reach late adulthood? Would I still be able to travel wherever I want to or even walk several meters across? Could I still think critically about the problems of the society or even memorize the names of my grandchildren? Am I able to double the number of friends I have today or at least fix broken relationships?

Nevertheless, my curiosity is all about the future. My future is all about what I do today, at present. I will do my best for myself, for the ones I loved, and for my country.
